The Pomegranate (Punica granatum) is one of the most important fruitcrops commercially grown in the state of Maharashtra,Gujrat.The main commercially grown varieties are Bhagwa, Arakta and Ganesh.,

Bhagwa is widely known for it’s soft seeds,Dark red colour and is very delicious in taste.
